This week we are looking at a new recent addition to the range of cases stocked by TheCoolingShop.com. Recently introduced is the new ZDL Spider Case, which comes without a PSU, but has all the accessories required to make a very attractive pre-modded case.

Case Overview.
The ZDL has a number of lighting tricks up its sleeves. The most amazing feature is the front panel, which incorporates 2 x Light tubes at either side. These obviously contain different coloured LED’s at each end of the tube, that present you with an array of light shows, constantly changing in colour and sequence. This is a very impressive feature, and makes the case stand out a mile.

The front panel features both LCD thermometer, which uses a flat tipped sensor, as well as a hidden front USB & firewire port, that allows you to extend your firewire card from the back to the front of the case.

The side window itself is very well cut and finished. This is quite a complex design, and provides a very nice touch to the case. The window is permanently fixed in place with fancy rivets. The centre of the side panel features the ZDL 80mm TRI Light fan along with a matching lazer cut fan grill. The fan grill is cut into the same shape as the window featuring the Spider design.
Top Window.
The top panel also features an acrylic window that is cut into four triangle sections, centred with a top blowhole. A ZDL Quiet 80mm Sleeve bearing fan is fitted along with a gold fan grill. If it were up to me, I would have included another lazer cut fan grill here to keep in line with the rest of the cases’ design. Separate fan grills can easily be purchased if a change is required.
